About
Victoria Proctor
As a highly experienced therapist, I have been running a busy practice since 2008. Using the most up-to-date techniques in neuro-science based solution-focused therapy, I have helped many people to change their thought patterns and regain control of areas of their lives they had previously thought were out of their control. This changes unwanted patterns of behaviour to new, positive ones.
I initially became interested in how the mind works whilst studying for my degree in Psychology with Music. As a classical singer, I would often suffer from stage fright. However, after receiving the type of treatment I now offer, I was able to perform confidently. This treatment helped me to understand that neuro-science can help us to retrain our brains, enabling us to reach our goals. This gives us control over the way we think and feel.
Since this time, I have completed a further Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP) at the renowned Clifton Practice in Bristol.
For many years, I have helped clients to make permanent changes by establishing new neurological pathways within the brain, thus replacing old faulty pathways and patterns of behaviour. This helps clients to be in control of their thoughts, feelings and actions.
I specialise in anxiety and depression, having become interested in these areas whilst studying for my psychology degree. I also have a particular interest in helping people to lose weight.
I treat many other issues, including past traumas, lack of confidence, blushing, sleep issues and phobias.
