I have established a busy practice over the past ten years, helping clients to make permanent changes by establishing new neurological pathways within the brain, thus replacing old faulty pathways and patterns of behaviour.  This helps clients to be in control of their thoughts, feelings and actions.

Overall, the approach which I adopt to treatment is practical and science based. The type of therapy I offer is Solution Focused Brief Therapy. This means that the therapy is goal directed and focuses on the here and now, as well as the future. This type of treatment is positive and helps the client to focus on what they want to achieve.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is used to change the way you think and behave by retraining the mind out of negative thinking patterns. These faulty thought patterns can easily keep us trapped in a vicious cycle, making us feel stuck and out of control. CBT is a practical way to improve your state of mind going into the future.

Hypnosis is used as a tool to enable clients to relax and to reinforce positive changes. Trance is just a state of relaxation, much like day-dreaming. The client is in control during the process and will be encouraged to visualise certain things during guided imagery/visualisation. Clients often feel relaxed and refreshed after this process.
